Salads in a Jar

So I started doing these Mason Jar salads a couple years ago as away to eat healthy and I've been hooked ever since! They are super simple to make, it just takes a bit of prep work but it's totally worth it! You can make just about any kind of salad in These mason jars and they will keep fresh for about 4-6 days. So I usually do these on Saturday and eat them all week long:).
       Directions:
Place your desired dressing 1st (As the bottom layer) , Continue to layer by adding a thicker vegetable/protein (Carrots/Chickpeas), Add any other vegetables, Then add meat/protein(Chicken/Legumes), and finish with Lettuce.

***In order for the Lettuce to stay fresh, you have to make sure that it is DRY***

Here are the Ingredients I used: Lettuce Spring Mix, Romaine Lettuce,Tomatoes,Cucumber, Avocados, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Squash, Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, Black beans, Hard Boiled Eggs, Chicken , Limes.
 Salads I've made and Enjoy:
Fiesta Salad: Lemon infused Pico de Gallo(As dressing), Black Beans, Cilantro Lime chicken, Romaine                            Lettuce.

Chef Salad: Ranch Dressing,Cucumber, Carrots, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Ham, Chicken, Hard boiled                             Egg, Cheese, Lettuce.

Caesar Salad: Caesar Dressing, Carrots, Cucumber, Chicken, Parmasean cheese, Romaine Lettuce.

Chicken&Squash Salad: Ranch Dressing, Cooked Squash, carrots, Chicken, Cheese, Romaine Lettuce.
