Easy DIY J.Crew Necklace

We all know that bold Statement necklaces are all the rage. And if you're going to invest in one, it better be something that you are going to be able to use time and time again.

I recently saw this beautiful necklace and even though its as classically beautiful as they get, I couldn't bring myself to buy it at a whopping $98 bucks. Ok, maybe if we had an unlimited supply of money I could splurge on it (maybe).

So I set out to make something similar. Hobby lobby sells these strips of beads (already in setting) and if you just add a few Jump-rings, chain, and clasp, you've got a very classy necklace!
For the necklace you'll need: Jump rings, clasp, 2 pre-made bead strips and matching chain.
Step 1: Add a jump ring to the bead strip's adhered ring  Step 2: Connect the chain to the jump ring and clamp the jump ring using plyers. Step 3: Do the same to the other side.
Step 4: Add the clasp to the jump ring.
Step 5: Combine both strips with a jump ring and clamp it shut.
 Here is the finished product
This is the easiest DIY J Crew necklace, right?!

I am in love with J Crew too. they are bit too expensive though. Those necklaces are gorgeous. u would have to pay at least 30 dollars for that in stores. I wish I was creative like that.

I know, I feel the same way about J Crew! But you could totally make this! Just set aside 10-15 mins and you have a new necklace;)!
