Spinach crust pizza- low carb yumminess!
Spinach Crust Pizza
2 cups raw spinach leaves
1 egg (large)
1/3 cup shredded market pantry pizza cheese blend
spices (I used Lawry's garlic salt, paprika, and oregano and parsley flakes - a sprinkle of each)
Hunts pasta sauce garlic & herb 2 tablespoons
2.0 oz ground turkey( cooked on stove top seasoned with cumin, garlic salt, and steak seasoning)
1/8th cup onion, diced
1/8th cup green bell pepper
1/4 cup cherry tomatoes diced
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Preheat oven to 425. Line a 12 inch pizza pan with parchment paper (DO NOT skip the parchment paper. Or it will stick horribly!). Set aside.
In a blender (or food processor), blend spinach until it is a baby food consistency. Add egg and pulse until combined. Add in cheese and spices and pulse until combined.
Spread evenly in prepared pizza pan.
Bake 18 mins 425 degrees (you want the edges of the crust nice and crispy)
Take out of the oven and add desired toppings(sauce, cheese, veggies, and meat)
Bake for 8 more mins or for the cheese to melt.
Let it cool a bit and enjoy!
I've tried both cauliflower and spinach cruss but I enjoy this spinach recipe a lot more and is a bit lower in carbs then the cauliflower one. *This is a great choice for medifast/weight watchers or any low carb diet:)!

My fitness pal calculates this whole pizza at 350 calories! So eat up guilt free;)!
