My 30 days of Clean Eating

My challenge 

So I feel like I eat pretty healthy most of the time , but I totally have a cheat day during the week where I totally over indulge.  And I always regret it afterwards . I feel so much better on the days when I'm eating clean! So I am setting a 30 day challenge for myself to have no "cheat days" and just eat clean wholesome foods.  In hopes that it will cleanse my system and help me have more energy to chase my little girls. I will be posting a few pics on Instagram to show ya how I'm doing. So if you'd like to join in the Challenge, let me know  on Instagram or Facebook  so I can cheer you on:)!
 So, what exactly is Clean Eating? When I think of clean eating, I think about eating foods close to their natural state, limiting bad fats and sugars. Eating lots of fruits and vegetables. Staying clear of prepackaged foods & frozen meals(As much as possible). Removing Dairy.  I will not be eating grains but if you are new to this style of eating feel free to eat wholesome grains like quinoa/brown rice. I know I will still be preparing those as sides for my family:).


 So lets Recap what we ARE going to eat: 
  • Protein (Fish, Chicken, Turkey, Beef, eggs )  
  • Fruits and vegetables
  • Nuts & Seeds(Beans fall under this category)
  •  Oils like Extra virgin olive oil/coconut oil
  • condiments (In moderation).
  •  Healthy grains
I will be preparing most of my meals at home, because I love to cook as well as being able to control what goes into my food.  But if you decide to do it, feel free to do what works best for you and your family:). 

Feel free to follow  my Here of the new recipes I'm looking forward to try(I will be adding more soon). Some of them do need to be modified for the sake of this Challenge. But there are so many that are just mouth watering! 
The Challenge will officially start on Monday July 14th. But feel free to start whenever! What do you think? Does anyone want to join in the Challenge? Do you have any go-to recipes?
