Perfect Fall Weather

The last week has been pretty chilly for us here in Cincinnati. I love that it's finally feeling like Fall! And I love waking up every morning and seeing the leaves on the trees start to change color.

I also love that I can finally pull out my vests & rain boots! It's been way too long since I've had the pleasure:).

The details on these boots are so pretty. My favorite part is the slip of fabric on the top of these YAYA'S rain boots. Which adds a little sophistication to your outfit.
I think I'm getting their black ones too because, they are just super comfy & I know I will be wearing them a ton in the next couple seasons. I wish these came in more vibrant colors as well{But maybe someday}. For now, I will just enjoy this darling pair:).
If you'd like to know more about YAYA'S  and the good they are doing in Mexico, visit their site{Here}& page{Here}.

We have a creek & forest that backs up into our house & it is such a beautiful view in the mornings & evenings. It has become one of my favorite aspect of our home. Which is pretty ironic, considering, the first time we walked through the house, I wasn't a big fan of having the creek in the backyard. I didn't think it was much to look at plus I saw it as a huge liability. We will probably build a fence in the near future, so I can have piece of mind that the girls are safe while playing in the backyard.
But for now, they have just loved playing on the deck upstairs. It doesn't connect to the main level & its huge, so they just ride bikes & scooters to their hearts content.
{This is our view from our deck}
 We also found out that we have a trail that connects to the creek and is about a mile.
 The girls have begged us to take them everyday since we found it! I've got to say, its pretty fun to take a walk after dinner and just let the girls run around and explore.
 This is the view from the low point of the creek.
I think the girls' favorite part of the trail is throwing rocks into the creek. Although, she did say she wanted to go fishing. So we might be making a fishing trip soon:) Our neighbors said that the water rises a lot in the fall & that people kayak down the creek. Kyle & I are big into kayaking {Well really anything fun & outdoorsy}, so that just solidified our decision about being kayak owners:)!
 Thanks so much for reading!
