Holiday Pleasers:Sweet & Spicy Meatballs

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving party this year & got to eat a lot of tasty food as we relaxed with friends. One thing, all the adults raved about was the sweet & spicy Apricot Apple meatballs we made. They have  a refreshing & unexpected mix of flavors that is bound to please even the toughest of critics:){Or so the hubby says}. So I wanted to share the recipe with you as part of a collaboration with #CollectiveBias & its advertisers. I hope you enjoy it! #Seasoned Greetings!#ad
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! The hubby had a few days off last week, so it felt like we were on vacation all week. It was splendid! And gave me plenty of time to comfortably plan our Thanksgiving party.

Whenever we host a party, I always try to incorporate a new recipe into the mix. I usually just combine things that I know will go well together & then add a little twist to it. Such was the case with this Apricot Apple sweet & spicy meatball recipe.
I made a mild version & one with a little more heat, so everyone could enjoy it. I really loved the rich flavors from the apple & apricot combined with the cheeses & hot sauce!

I am a huge hot sauce fan, so my pantries are usually stocked with a variety of my favorites, Tabasco is definitely one of them. And it was this hot sauce I used to balance the sweetness of this appetizer.
Here is a peek at a portion of our spread of food.
These Coconut mini pumpkin pies were amazing! This was our first try at the mini pumpkin pies & they were a hit. I actually preferred these to the traditional size. We made these with coconut oil rather than shortening & the crust came out fabulous! Next year we will probably only make this smaller selection. They were so good!
