Carne Asada Tacos & Recipe

Hello there! This week, I have been seriously missing my hometown in California & all things Mexican food. It's been quite some time since I've had some authentic carne asada tacos from a taqueria. And since there is a shortage of those here in Ohio, I decided to make my own.
Below are some pictures from our Mexican feast.
Our girls love this lime infused steak!
Can you believe this Mexican rice came from a rice-cooker? It's amazing & beyond easy to make! Here is the recipe if you'd like to give it a try:).
Once your meat has marinated, pre-heat the grill{on medium-high heat} & brush some oil on the grates to prevent the meat from sticking.
Then cook the steak for 7-10 minutes{on each side}. Once it's done, place it on a cutting board to rest for a few minutes before thinly slicing the steak against the grain{diagonally}.

Then simply heat up tortillas and top with fresh cilantro and onions and your favorite salsa & enjoy!

Have you ever had carne asada tacos?
