1. First off, know what your primary use for the suit is going to be{swimming laps, surfing, laying out n the beach, etc.}. Narrowing this down will help you get the optimal comfort, support & style out of your suit.
I love my rash guard & bikini bottom combo, especially when I know I'll be out on a SUP or surfing all day long. It's great, because it not only keeps you from getting unnecessary scratches but it also protects your skin from unwanted sun exposure.
3. Tie-front suits/ruffles/ bows draw your eyes to your bust & give the illusion of extra volume{this is best suited for smaller chests}.
4. If you have a fairly slim/thin frame and want a suit to give your body a more voluminous appearance, then you should opt for a Bandeau suit.
5. If you have a fuller shape, ruching or color blocking goes a long way to slim the figure.
6. If you are expecting, I'd say peplum tops, soft prints and tankinis are your best allies. But, I'm sure that cute tummy would look darling in just about anything!
7. Color matters, choosing bright colors/patterns will catch the eye & are best for slimmer figures/or for adding emphasis to a certain area{bust/hips}.
8. Darker colors/solid prints give more of a camouflage effect{& are best for fuller areas/figures }.
Hope you enjoyed the tips! And if you have some great tips to add to the list, I'd love to hear them:)! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
