Having had two kids now, I kind of know what I really need as well as what I really want with me at the hospital. You know those little luxuries, that make you feel comfortable & cute{like your old self}. Since, we have C-Section babies, our hospital stay feels like an eternity. That being said, I still love being able to capture those first moments at the hospital when we get to meet our baby & take in that wonderful new-born smell. That is truly priceless to me!
With my first born, I didn't really give much thought about what I would wear before & after delivery, which was a big mistake on my part. First of all, the gowns the hospital provides you are not flattering whatsoever; as well as are a bit uncomfortable to wear because of the lack of modesty they provide. And after just giving birth, the last thing you want to be worrying about is how you look{so plan ahead;)}.
I had no idea what size I would be after delivering, but I was maybe a little too ambitious in my clothing selection, because I remember barely fitting into my clothes{which was not very fun}. That's why this time around I am packing something cute, loose & ultra comfy to wear!
Something I didn't plan ahead for was wearing clothing that allowed me to nurse comfortably. I had known very early on in my pregnancy that that's what we would do for our baby but I never connected the dots when packing my hospital clothing. Thankfully now I know better{no more stripping down to feed baby}!
Here are my top 3 Stylish comforts to make your hospital stay just a little more pleasant & memorable.
