Quick & Easy Bathroom Updating

So I've been working on half a dozen different projects for weeks now & most of them are just about wrapped up. Which means I can finally get to some neglected projects; like my girl's bathroom. For the most part the cabinets just needed a little updating & organization. I've never been a fan of the standard oak finish & I knew when we bought the home that I would eventually change it {either stain it or paint it}. But this week, I finally got around to making those changes.
Originally we were going to stain the cabinets but since I'm expecting, we thought it'd be safer & quicker just to use chalk paint. We stripped off the cabinet doors so we could paint it thoroughly.
This is the chalky paint we used. We ended up having to put on three coats of paint on the cabinets. And, each coat took about an hour and half to dry.
Once the cabinets were dry, It was time to start organizing the inside.
My youngest is going through an over-consumption phase, she thinks she needs 20 pieces of Quilted Northern toilet paper to blow her nose. In her defense, this Ultra Soft & Strong variety is pretty plush{the perfect combination of comfort & durability}. Needless to say, her bathroom is always fully stocked with this strong & flexible toilet paper.
I love the instant gratification that comes with putting your things in pretty decorative baskets & bins. I added baskets for all their everyday essentials, & kept one empty so they could put their clothes in before they take a shower{that way there's no clutter}.
Doesn't this look just a tad bit cuter?
I also added a little art work to brighten the room .
Now we just need to add hardware to the cabinets & then they are completely finished! So excited to be able to check this off my to-do list!
I really like how this bathroom turned out, It looks much more inviting!
What is a project you've been putting off?
Oh and I found our beloved Quilted Northern in Walmart's tissue aisle.
