Christmas Cards

It's starting to feel a lot like Christmas! Which means those darling and highly anticipated Christmas cards are just around the corner...
I don’t know about you, but I love receiving Christmas cards in the mail. Especially these days, where our lives feel more & more electronic. Its funny how things change~ remember when receiving letters via snail-mail was boring and getting emails was exciting, and now it's the other way around entirely?

My oldest two, Mallorie & Hayden think it's the coolest thing in the world to receive letters so, you can imagine what a peculiar treasure Christmas cards are to them. They absolutely love them & so do I!

But for someone who loves Christmas cards so much, I sure don't act like it... It seems like every year I put off making them until the last possible second. Well this year, I vowed I would not procrastinate making our cards and spare myself the stress of coming up with something last minute. So, mid-November I designed & ordered our cards through Staples, the hardest part was choosing a template since they have such a robust selection. I really loved the ease of their site, all I had to do was drag & drop our pictures & they did the rest! Now I just need to do my part and actually mail them off:D!
ps. Now through 12/26 you can save 20% off your order by using code: HOLIDAY20.
While I was there I also made a couple stocking stuffers I thought our family would enjoy. The first is a family puzzle. Lately Mallorie has really been into puzzles specifically the smaller variety that you're almost certain they're going to lose:), so I made her this family one that I'm sure she will love{and hopefully cherish}!
Our family has a special appreciation for games, most holidays we will all gather around the dinning table or family room and spend the evening together playing games. So, the second stocking stuffer I made is a deck of cards with a picture of our sweet girls. I love how these turned out! I can't wait to see our kiddos faces when they see their new gifts:)!

Have you mailed your Christmas cards yet? That's on my list of things to do today, wish me luck:)! Oh & If you plan to make any gifts through Staples this month be sure to use code: JOLLY20 to save 20% off your order. Enjoy!
