Holiday Guide

Thank you to Hanes for kindly sponsoring this post. As always all opinions are completely my own. #hanesfortheholidays #ad;)
Happy Christmas Eve! With the holiday season in full swing and parties and gatherings on everyone's itineraries, I wanted to check in and share my easy holiday survival guide so we can finish off the year stress-free!
|Dress: Liethe | Blazer: Helmut Lang | Purse: Christian Louboutin{Sweet Charity} |
Shoes: Nine West | Tights: Hanes |

So, what does my survival guide consist of, you ask? Well, It's just an assortment of things that I've found to be super helpful to have on hand {or in the car}, especially when going from one party to another.
So here it is:

1. Bring Comfort. I'll be the first to say that heels are a must for any holiday party, but if there's going to be any dancing involved or you're planning to be on your feet for a few hours; be sure to pack a comfy pair of flats! The last thing you want is to have to cut your evening short because your feet are killing you:)!

2. Few Shades. For some reason lipstick is always an after-thought in my home. So I always like to have a few shades to choose from in my makeup bag in the car.

3. Layers. Typically around this time it is freezing outside. Luckily for us in Ohio, we are having a very warm Christmas this year and will not need to have our thick coats out. But you never know, so it's always a good idea to have a blazer & or a trench-coat in your car;).

4. Fashion Emergency Kit. This is just great to have in case a button or hem becomes undone while you are out & about!

5. Shape wear Tights. The first reason I like to carry these in the car is because during the Winter-time my shaving habits tend to get a little too lax & there are plenty of days when I walk out the door wearing a dress without freshly shaven legs & need to cover up. The second reason is that I really like the smooth & shapely feel of Hanes tights {especially after just having a baby}.

Alright, well there you have it! What are some of your must-have items for surviving the holidays?

Wishing you a Merry Christmas!!!
