Healthy Protein Smoothie

I love smoothies and have made it my goal  to drink one everyday, but on occasion, they leave me ravenous and starved only an hour later {mostly when I don’t add certain ingredients}. So today, I'm sharing a super delicious & healthy smoothie that will keep you full, balanced and energized {yup, no morning fog here}.
Without fail, whenever I start to increase my workouts, my body starts to get cravings for Peanut butter & chocolate. And since I'm well aware of this reoccurring phenomenon, I preemptively make a protein packed smoothie to enjoy right after a workout or as my last meal of the day. That way I can feel nourished and remember I'm not being deprived of anything:).
So here's what I add to my smoothie: Spinach{because it's a nutrient powerhouse}, Raw cacao powder {because it's full of antioxidants, magnesium & iron}, Jif peanut powder {for protein & pure deliciousness}, Bananas {for creaminess} and Ice Water. If I'm fixing this as a post-workout smoothie: I'll also add a scoop of this & a bit of SILK Almond milk to give me some extra calories. This usually makes a decent serving even when I'm sharing it with my girls {which is just about every time}.
If you are looking for an even bigger energy boost, you can also up your nutrients by adding: Ground Flax seeds, Raw Maca Powder & Chia seeds.
