Tropical Goodness Smoothie

I have been on a smoothie-kick lately. It started because I wanted to sneak in some extra nutrients & vitamins into my diet but now I can't seem to get enough of them. And, I can’t tell you how great it feels to be back in the smoothie-making-groove!
 I had way too many indulgences over the holidays and it's time to get back to eating well and exercising more! With the start of this new year I have made a pretty intensive list of goals I want to accomplish throughout 2016. One of them, is feeling better & having more energy. I know that what I put in my body directly affects that, so I am challenging myself to replace one of my meals each day this week with a fruit+veggie smoothie. Sounds simple enough right?!I
 I stand firm that moderation is the key. For me, it’s about finding the balance to keep the junk to an absolute minimum and maximizing the healthy stuff {like this Tropical goodness smoothie}.
This smoothie is sweet & slightly tart and is just a great way to wake up & start your day! 
I recently found out that my kiddos will gobble up just about anything I make as long as it's in a smoothie form...which means: you're going to be seeing a lot more smoothies up on the blog:D!
Tropical Goodness Smoothie

Ingredients
2 kiwi, peeled1/2 cup Blueberries
1/2 cup Blackberries
1 cup baby spinach
1/2 banana, peeled
1/4 cup vanilla SILK (optional)
1 Tsp Honey (optional)
12 ice cubes
Instructions
Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. 
Enjoy! 

I'm super excited about this challenge! I'm ready to start feeling great and having more energy!
