Making Lunch Cooler + GIVEAWAY!

Both my kiddos are pretty picky eaters and so, I often worry about them getting enough to eat while they're off at school. At the beginning of the school year Mallorie {our first-grader} really struggled during lunchtime. Part of that was because, she really didn't like what I was packing for her & so of course she was barely eating any of it. So, I knew I had to make her lunches just a tad bit cooler and more exciting.
For us that meant giving her more ownership of what to take to school. The first thing we did was stock some baskets in the fridge & pantry with a variety of her favorites {fruit, veggies, dairy, protein, treats} to help her "build" her own lunch {as well as teach her about a healthy/balanced lunch}.
After that we let her choose a fun new lunch bag to take to school. She opted for this adorable poppies print by PackIt. The neat thing about their lunch bags is that they're completely freezable. You just fold them & stick them in the freezer overnight and in the morning it's ready to keep your food nice & cool{for upto 10 hours}.
One thing I really appreciate about these bags is how easy to use they are. Both my girls can open these bags without any problems, which is really important with how little time kiddos have to eat at school these days!
I am so pleased with our PackIt Lunch Bags {& more importantly so are my picky eaters}, they are such a cute & practical way to keep your food at just the right temperature!
Our wonderful friends at PackIt  are giving one My Simple Modest Chic reader the chance to win a PackIt Lunch Bag of their own. Simply leave a comment below & enter the Rafflecopter for a chance to win a Freezable Lunch Bag{US residents only}. Goodluck!
