Motherhood & Struggles

I feel so blessed to be a mother to these three lively, funny, sweet girly girls of mine! They are all so unique and truly amazing in their own special way! They make every day more memorable, exciting and most definitely louder:D! I am so grateful for them! I'm also incredibly grateful for my mother and for the wonderful influence she has had in my life! I feel like I've had an outpouring of wonderful strong beautiful women in my life that have been such great role models for me and have encouraged me to become the person that I am today! I'm so thankful for each and every one of you!
I hope you feel incredibly loved and celebrated this Mother’s Day! And regardless of your circumstance or the season you may find yourself in, just know that you are doing enough, and you are loved and appreciated!

There are so many beautiful and precious things about motherhood that shape & mold the persons that we are becoming and forever alter the course of our lives but I also know that motherhood can be incredibly tough! It's not a job that gives you instant gratification all the time {especially when you have cholicy babies, and get a daily dose of whining & a plethora of dirty diapers:)}, it can often feel overwhelming. It's a very selfless sacred calling that we have been given & one that many of us quietly struggle with. Some days it's just very easy to get down on yourself for not doing every single thing right & think we aren't enough.

But I know in reality the opposite is true. You are enough. I really love what Jeffrey R. Holland said in respect to Motherhood:" To all mothers in every circumstance, including those who struggle- and all will-I say, Be peaceful believe in God & Yourself. You are doing better than you think you are"! This gem has brought me so much peace & comfort, and got me through many hardships. I hope it will for you as well {you can read the full talk here}.
Not every day will be perfect but I know as we do our best & cling to those we love, we will make it through those rough times! And there will be so many more good days, no great days ahead of us that will make us forget all about those "bad ones"! At least that's my mantra;)!

I hope you had a joyful Mother's day!!!
