DIY Gift Basket For Jet-setters

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. As always all opinions are my own. #BigLotsHoliday #CollectiveBias
Can you believe we are already in December?! Where did the year go? It feels like every year the Holiday season gets here earlier & earlier. I know the Holidays can get hectic for everyone, and it's easy to forget to purchase a gift for a party/friend, so that's why this year I've put together a couple easy gift baskets in advance to have on hand. Best part is that they're incredibly practical, and useful for the Jet-setter in your life, or really anyone with a phone.
If you're a frequent visitor of my site, then you know I have a soft spot for Big Lots (especially their holiday selection) and I like to pop in every few weeks to check out their new inventory.

They really have everything you need to prepare for the holiday gifting season (from decor, to food and oh yes...Christmas gifts) and on the rare chance they don't have an item, they're employees are always super helpful at locating the item for you at a nearby store.
On my last trip, I picked up some amazing gifts that could be given individually or bundled together to create a thoughtful gift. The best part is that it's all a great value, and you leave with plenty of $$ to spare!

Alright, ready to get started? You'll need a cute basket, ornaments, clear plastic bags, bakers twine, scissors,  and 3-5 tech gifts (all of mine where from Big Lot's electronics aisle)
The first step in this gift basket is to add a layer of beautiful ornaments. This will raise your gifts up, making them more aesthetically pleasing and make it easier to stand up the gifts. Plus, the fun pop of color is exactly what you need to add a little festive warmth to this tech gift!
Next, you can do one of two things: either place your gifts in a clear bag & cinch with twine, or simply add a glue dot and bow to each each gift.
Now you can start placing your gifts into the basket, in varying heights to give a little dimension to the basket.
You'll continue the last step until all your gifts are nicely tucked inside. That's it! I love the simplicity of this DIY. It's incredibly quick to pull together, yet completely softens up a tech gift!
Are you ready for the holidays? What great holiday items have you picked up from Big Lots lately?
