Last night Kyle and I went on our first date since I started school at one of Cincinnati's best eateries. It's an amazing local restaurant called Boca.

I'm pretty sure I had the best beet salad in the history of time last night. And I don't say that lightly. This salad comes with Beet slices which have stuffed aged goat cheese, with refined greens and a savory vinaigrette, and a little extra balsamic on the side. The combination of flavors & textures is creative and exciting.
Oh, and I also tried the Petrale Sole Grenobloise which was tender, and came with creamy roasted cauliflower. Kyle had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection with a chowder-like sauce and creamy spinach on the side. Both entrees were great but I loved my sole the best, especially with a bit of lime.
If you haven't had the chance to eat here, I highly recommend it! Just, don't forget to make reservations at least a week in advance because they are always booked!
