Cincinnati's Finest Restaurant

Last night Kyle and I went on our first date since I started school at one of Cincinnati's best eateries. It's an amazing local restaurant called Boca.
This restaurant could probably get high ratings on looks alone (it has charm written all over it), but they're food is really quite exquisite. When you walk inside you see a communal style seating but don't let that fool you, there are so many nooks and crannys' that will make you forget there is anyone there but you and your party.
I'm pretty sure I had the best beet salad in the history of time last night. And I don't say that lightly. This salad comes with Beet slices which have stuffed aged goat cheese, with refined greens and a savory vinaigrette, and a little extra balsamic on the side. The combination of flavors & textures is creative and exciting.

Oh, and I also tried the Petrale Sole Grenobloise which was tender, and came with creamy roasted cauliflower. Kyle had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection with a chowder-like sauce and creamy spinach on the side. Both entrees were great but I loved my sole the best, especially with a bit of lime.

If you haven't had the chance to eat here, I highly recommend it! Just, don't forget to make reservations at least a week in advance because they are always booked!
