3 Tips for Relaxation

As moms, we don't get a lot of time to ourselves but it's so important to take a quiet moment (or two) for yourself and decompress. Trust me, you've earned it!

Today I am sharing some tips for adding a little relaxation to your day.
My favorite way to relax in the mornings is by cozying up with a warm cup of Bigelow tea next to the fire. I love to blend my tea into my own creations with cinnamon, honey, lime and a handful of spices. Lately, I have been sweetening my Constant Comment tea with a little honey and peppermint (yum!). There really is nothing quite as relaxing for me during the cold fall and winter nights than a freshly brewed pot of tea.
Another way to relax is by making treats. Whipping up treats in the kitchen can do more than just create yummy comfort food. Baking has been found to have a therapeutic value which helps to ease anxiety and negative thinking. Really, any activity which takes your whole attention (especially if it's simple and repetitive) can have a calming, meditative quality.
Drawing an indulgent and luxurious bath can be truly revitalizing for the body and mind. The warm water aids in muscle relaxation which helps to reduce tension and stress from the day. A soothing soak in the tub can quiet the mind, boost your mood, and beat fatigue (especially when paired with essential oils).

I don't get a lot of time to relax between school, family, and work but luckily I can always sneak in a few minutes to brew some Constant Comment Bigelow tea during the day.

A few weeks ago I decided I needed to have a tea station set up so I can enjoy a warm cup of tea a tad faster. The best part is that It came together in under five minutes! I simply set out a couple of cute mugs, my favorite Bigelow tea, substitute sugar, honey, and cinnamon sticks on a cute tray and voila! If you’re working with a small area, you can use a basket or small containers to organize your assortment of teas.

If you're looking for more tea inspiration, be sure to check out Bigelow’s Tea Proudly site, and on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram.
Next time you need to unwind, don't forget to brew up a cup of Bigelow's Constant Comment (it's so yummy)! You can find Bigelow Constant Comment at your local Walmart in the tea aisle.
