Cherry Smoothie Bowl

This Cherry Smoothie Bowl is as healthy as it is delicious! It’s refreshing, filling, and loaded with beautifying superfoods. Add all your favorite toppings for a treat suited just to your tastes.
Sometimes you just need a hint of decadence in your life. If your sweet tooth just needs to be satisfied, skip the ice cream and go straight for this smoothie bowl. I’ve been making this cherry smoothie for awhile, and it’s definitely one of my favorite smoothie bowls to date.

The trick to getting a good consistency with smoothie bowls is to add more frozen fruit. That way your consistency is closer to that of frozen yogurt than of a liquid drink. 
We’re big fans of smoothie bowls around here— especially the kind of smoothie bowls that are more than just fruit. If you’ve got picky eaters at home, don't worry this smoothie bowl is sure to be a crowd pleaser! Your little ones will never taste the spinach! 

2 frozen bananas
1 cup frozen cherries
1/2 cup spinach
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or your choice of milk)
1/2 cup plain dairy-free yogurt (or vanilla yogurt)

Blend all ingredients. Try to keep the liquids at the bottom of the blender to help your blender break up the frozen fruit.
Top the bowl with your favorite toppings. I chose dragon fruit balls and blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
