Happy Holidays!

As we’ve gotten a little further into December I’ve started realizing just how many fun traditions we do with our kids.  I realize people all over the world celebrate this season a little differently, and some don’t celebrate it all, but I wanted to share something I always look forward to this time of year!

Our girls look forward to December all year long.  It must have something to do with the lights, the magic, the yummy treats and the extra sweet spirit of love they feel at home, at school, and from all our neighbors.

One of my favorite things we do and cherish are our photos for our annual Christmas cards. Surprisingly this year we got ours taken early and out to family before December (which I count as a huge win since I'm a full time student)!
It's so fun to see how much they've grown during the year and to reflect on their events from the year and all of their fun accomplishments!
I thought it would be fun to make a list of our most cherished Christmas traditions.
1. Start December trying to #LightTheWorld
2. Making Christmas Ornaments
4. Setting out our Nativities
5. Read and participate in the Giving Manger
6. Make Tamales
7. Go sledding
8. Watch Christmas movies (Polar Express, The Grinch, and Elf are our favorites)

Your turn! What does your family love to do during the Christmas season?
