Mariscos Cocktail

If you're a seafood lover, than you will love this Mariscos cocktail! This zesty and fresh meal has been one of my favorites ever since I was a little girl, and today I get to share the delicious recipe with you all😋! 
When I was two years old, my family immigrated to the United States from Mexico. We made it a point to stay within driving distance of our extended family, so that we could visit often. One of my earliest memories as a kid was of going to this cozy little seafood shop in Mexicali, on our way to my grandma's house. It was during one of those weekend visits that I got my first taste of Clamato® cocktails! I’ve been hooked ever since.
I've always loved seafood. If it were solely up to me, I would eat mariscos for every single meal of the day, especially if it involves Clamato! Have you tried Clamato before? Clamato is the authentic tomato cocktail that spices up all your parties and get-togethers. It adds more to your meals and cocktails – from a delicious shrimp ceviche to a perfect Michelada.       
       
On my latest trip to Walmart, I saw that Clamato had added a few new flavors. My curiosity got the best of me, so I grabbed a couple of bottles to try at home. And since Walmart has a great selection of produce, I also picked up all the fresh ingredients I needed for this recipe.
Here's what you'll need for this Mariscos recipe: Clamato, shrimp, cucumber, tomatoes, avocado, cilantro, onion and lime. Pretty simple right?
MARISCOS RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
  • 4 Cups of Clamato® Tomato Cocktail Original
  • 2 Cups of shrimp, cooked
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 cucumber, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup of cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 cup clams (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of Hot sauce (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a large air tight container and refrigerate for an hour. Once it's chilled, divide the seafood mixture into two servings and pour into cocktail glasses. Enjoy!
