My kids and I could not get enough of it. Isn't this the cutest little tea party?Read on for decorating ideas to help you host your own little party!

During a year when celebrating with families and friends looks different, I wanted to create a fun whimsical tea party tablescape for our family to enjoy and to brighten the end of the year.I loved the vibrant modern Christmas trees, the bright and colorful ornaments paired with just the right amount of red+white+black decor.

Tea parties can be one of the simplest parties to throw but they can easily become overwhelming if you aren't careful.

Here are a few tips on hosting a successful (and pretty 😉) tea party:

1. Pick a tea that is mild or that most of your guests will enjoy (we really like Chamomile tea), but have other drinks available like milk or hot cocoa on hand.

2. Plan what you will serve (lunch or desserts). Save time by using ready-made snacks to munch on (like Entenmann’s® Minis Crumb Cake or Entenmann’s® Minis Pound Cake). I also like to have a variety of fruits on hand to help balance flavors.

3. Pick a color scheme and stick with your color palette. It’s less overwhelming and makes the colors look consistent and clean.

4. Decide on a venue, are you hosting the party indoors or outdoors?

5. Be sure to look around your house to see what you already have to work with before you head out to buy anything. I'm always surprised by the things I find in my storage closet😄!

6. Shift to online pick-up. One of the biggest time savers is planning ahead and only heading out to the store once. I love our local Walmart for this-their service is so effortless! You can easily let your mind run wild with the food and serve all your favorite things. Just remember to try and keep the size of each item small so that guests can try a variety of things without filling up on any one thing. Think mini and bite-size! That's one of the reasons why I love Entenmann’s® Minis Crumb Cake or Entenmann’s® Minis Pound Cake because they are perfectly portioned out right out of the box!

The most obvious though, is that they are so delicious and satisfy your cravings for high-quality decadent desserts. Want to give these a try? Simply, click on the image above to add Entenmann’s® Minis directly on to your shopping cart.We glammed some of ours up a bit by simply adding a dollop of frosting and raspberries. It was so good!

Keep an eye out for these on your next Walmart trip, they're available nationwide!I hope that this post gave you some inspiration for your next tea party!Happy Holidays!
